East India Brown Bess Carbine With 28 Inch barrel. Wood is in a lovely condition. Lock is marked with East India Company rampant lion and dated 1810 also a crown over a 2 stamp underneath pan. It holds on half cock and full cock with a good spring action and produces a good spark. Sadly the barrel has light to moderate pitting throughout its length some proof markings are just visible, hence the lower price. Comes with ramrod but no sling swivels but still a lovely example to add to a collection.
